AUDIOLOGICAL SERVICES

The G.A.D. is in the process of enhancing its audiological services. Alterations to the testing room are going to be made, and more equipment will be bought to start testing very young children using visual reinforcement audiometry.

EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
As soon as funds are available, the G.A.D. will update its library. Books and journals dealing with various aspects of hearing impairment will be ordered. DVD’s and videos to be used in lectures and seminars will also be added to the present resources.

INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM
The hall of the Centre has been recently equipped with an induction loop system. This helps hearing aid users understand speech better during meetings and talks.
